Kostume Karaoke 2015 -
Last night's show at the Rock n' Roll Hotel was amazing, but what was even more amazing were my winners ( I said my winners), Mike Todd, Tom Plofchan, and Paul Anderson, who represented The Wonderland Ballroom in this competition. They were all awesome and will forever be winners in my book. A big THANK YOU goes out to these guys for a more than a job well done. Your courage, strength, and tenacity to have fun under pressure came shining through. THANK YOU: Mike, Tom, and Paul.
The Wonderland Ballroom has 3 champions. We should all celebrate them this Cinco de Mayo Tuesday Karaoke. However, only one winner was lucky to make it to the final round and to take home 2nd place (Not to shabby at all). Ladies and gentlemen, I introduce to you, the one and only, all the way from Chi-town USA, the Winner of 2nd place for Wonderland, Mike Todd!
A big thanks to Debbi Arseneaux of Kostume Karaoke, Rock and Roll Hotel, and The Wonderland Ballroom. This competition was fiercely competitive, funny, fun, and free.
It started about a month ago (late March) when Debbi of Kostume Karaoke and my good friend Wayne Manigo asked me to recruit on their behalf. It was like lightening had struck and I immediately fell into toe. We began our recruitment and the process was quick and intense. Because time was of the essence, immediately chose our champions with a little help form the crowds that attend my regular nights at The Wonderland Ballroom (Yes, Every Tuesday 8 PM), Mike Todd, Tom Plofchan, and Paul Anderson. I must say we chose wisely.

I happy to say that Big Mike won 2nd Place for The Wonderland Ballroom All of my guys are champion and could have well represented Wonderland. Nevertheless, the judges chose Big Mike and he did one helluva job.

In his own words: OMG!!!!!!!! I had a ball last night @ the Rock and Roll Hotel last night, the talent was amazing, shout out to everyone who came out and supported me I really appreciate you Andre Moore,Dj Ra Free.Jeff Van Collins, Jeff Eskridge, I m proud to say I took home the second place prize $150 in bar tabs that's what I'm talking bout. Even tho alot of people said I should have won, I just wanted to have fun. So before I could get of the stage I was approach by one of the District Karaoke board member in DC to be an official be apart of their team I was like wow!!!!!!! So just because you don't Win one way doesn't mean you won't Win in another ......I was Dressed to impress last night lmao!!!! Kostume Karaoke baby
